In addition to ancestor spirits, Kuy have confidence in other character spirits which includes that of the watch lizard (takuat) which they feel to be image of fertility. The Kuy conduct ceremonies to propitiate the takuat spirit and ask for fertility from mother nature. They'd also go ahead and take tail with the lizard to work with in divination
